DGCA Director’s Visit to NAeL – RPTO Pre-Audit

On 01 December 2022, the Director, DGCA visited Naini Aerospace Limited (NAeL), Prayagraj, to conduct a pre-audit of the facility in preparation for the inauguration and approval of NAeL’s Remote Pilot Training Organisation (RPTO).

During the visit, the Director held detailed discussions with the RPTO team and reviewed the facility and infrastructure against applicable DGCA requirements and norms. The inspection covered key facilities including the drone flying area, simulator room, training drones, library, maintenance room and other supporting infrastructure.

The Director expressed satisfaction with the facilities, preparedness and capabilities of NAeL for conducting remote pilot training. Following the successful assessment and compliance with DGCA requirements, NAeL received approval for its RPTO, which is now operational and conducting drone pilot training.
