Shri Anbuvelan S, Chief Execitive Officer, Helicopter Complex, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited is present Chairman of Naini Aerospace Limited. Shri Anbuvelan has been serving as Director on the Board of Naini Aerospace Limited effective from June 06, 2019. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Alagappa Chettiar Government College of Engineering & Technology, Karaikudi and did Masters in Aircraft Production Engineering from IIT – Madras. He also holds a Post-Graduation Diploma in Business Management from XIME, Bangalore.
He joined Hindustan Aeronautics Limited on 21st July 1986 as a Management Trainee (Mechanical). In his career spanning over more than 33 years, he has worked in various positions in Helicopter Division, Bangalore for a span of 30 Years, thus gaining extensive exposure on ALH Production activities. He has subsequently worked as the Additional General Manager (Outsourcing) at Koraput Division, Odisha, General Manager of Barrackpore Division and Helicopter Division. Shri Anbuvelan recently promoted to Executive Director, Helicopter division before taking over the charge as Chief Excutive Officer of Helicopter Complex, Hindustan Aeronaurics Limited..
He has accomplished optimal levels of performance with great sincerity and has enhanced skill and capacity through his leadership. He inculcated the learning from his higher studies and experience gained from Aerospace Industries abroad into the areas of Work Culture, Planning, Supply Chain Management & Production Flow. Maintaining a work culture that stimulates the growth of individual, initiating and executing unique ideas for Crisis Management, Building Confidence among the subordinates are a few of his effective leadership attributes. Some of his achievements during his tenure in Hindustan Aeronautics Limited are, Productionising ALH’s Integrated Transmission Assembly, Ramping up Production of ALH Gear boxes, Reduction of snags during equipping of ALH, Training & Development of employees with a focus on Individual Development,Outsourcing management using web portal for R29 & R29B project, Quality improvements in ROH of Cheetah & Chetak Helicopters at Barrackpore.Streamlining of ALH Production, implementation of latest technologies involving digital transformation in the field of Manufacturing & Assembly of Helicopter Products.
Shri M Satyanarayana has taken over as the Chief Executive Officer of Accessories complex on 01st January 2025. He has been nominated as Director on the Board of Naini Aerospace Limited effective from January 1, 2025. Prior to this, he served as General Manager of HAL’s Accessories Division at Lucknow & Avionics Division at Hyderabad.
He started his career in HAL as XXIV Batch Management Trainee in the year 1989 after completing his B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering from D.M.S.S.V.H. College of Engineering, Machilipatnam, Nagarjuna University, India. He further pursued an M.Tech in Aircraft Production Engineering from IIT Madras in 1993.
With over 30 years of experience in avionics and accessories development, Shri M Satyanarayana has worked extensively across Russian, Western, and Indigenous platforms, ranging from legacy fleets to cutting-edge advancements and future technologies.
His significant contributions include capability development for the AESA radar and EW suite of the LCA Mk1A and Jaguar Darin III aircraft, encompassing activities such as implementing Transfer of Technology (ToT) from foreign OEMs and advancing indigenous capabilities in collaboration with DRDO labs. He has played a pivotal role in establishing manufacturing facilities for advanced indigenous avionics systems for LCA, including CIT, LCA-MC, DMG, DAMS, MNS, and iRAM.
In addition to indigenous advancements, he has also been instrumental in the development of manufacturing and repair-overhaul (ROH) facilities for Russian-origin avionics of the Su-30 aircraft, including niche technologies such as Fly-By-Wire (FBW) system.
A strong advocate of IT enablement, he has spearheaded the development of IT tools for efficient monitoring of trade receivables, capital expenditures, GeM procurement, production, and sales.
Currently, Shri M Satyanarayana serves as an Executive Council Member of Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies & Industries (SIATI).
Shri Puneet Kumar, Chief of Project and Head of Transport Aircraft Division, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Kanpur has been nominated as Director on the Board of Naini Aerospace Limited effective from July 1, 2022. Shri Puneet Kumar is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from Institute of Engineering & Technology, Lucknow. He holds post graduate degree of M. E. in Analysis and Design of process equipments from NIT, Allahabad. He also holds a Post-Graduation Diploma in Business Management from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon. He has completed Leadership Development Program at IIM, Ahmedabad. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP), certified by PMI, USA.
He joined Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) as a Design Trainee in July 1996 and has been associated with HAL for over 26 years. He worked in various positions at Transport Aircraft Division, Kanpur. He possesses wide experience in areas of aircraft assembly, MRO and test flight operations. He has been instrumental in revival of 5 prolonged AOG HS-748 aircraft of IAF. He headed IT and Quality Control departments also and led several projects for improvements. A state-of-the-art Data Centre was successfully installed under his leadership. Under his headship, TAD became first division of HAL to acquire AS9100 D certification. He was also instrumental in getting approval of BARC for its NDT facilities for the first time.
Under his leadership, civil version of HAL Do-228-201 aircraft was certified by DGCA for operations in India. He played a key role in evolving a methodology for leasing of Civil Do 228 aircraft. The aircraft are deployed in the state of Arunachal Pradesh.

Shri R R Thakur, CEO Nani Aerospace Limited ,is a renowned professional and has contributed for decades in different verticals at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited.
He holds Master degree in Computer Science & Engineering with specialisation in System Theory. He joined HAL in the year 1996 and started his initial career at Engine Overhaul Division, Koraput as Project Engineer he was closely associated in setting up RD-33 aero engines test bed. Under his guidance, fault finding and rectification of MiG-29 aircraft was done at Air Force Station for the first time. He worked across various departments in HAL and has rich experience of more than 27 years in Production, IT, Planning, Supply Chain Management, Capital Procurements etc.
During his tenure at Embassy of India, Moscow he progressed several Indo-Russian technical collaborations for manufacturing and Overhaul of SU-30MKI aircrafts, MTA & FGFA projects etc. He was instrumental in organising high-level meetings like Indo Russian Sub Group on Aviation (IRSA), HLMC, SALS etc.
He has vast experience in working with Defence Offset Management Wing (DOMW), Ministry of Defence, Government of India. During his tenure at MoD several offset contracts were concluded and implemented successfully, further he was instrumental in setting up organizational framework for faster disposal of offset discharge claims through DOMW online portal. He represented DOMW/MoD on various international forums and explained prospective business opportunity in India under Defence Offset Policy Guidelines to foreign vendors. He was instrumental in setting up DOMW Facilitation Cell at SCOPE Complex, New Delhi which is outside of the Defence Ministry where foreign vendors and Indian Offset Partners can walk in without any prior appointment. He had played a significant role while drafting of Defence Offset Guidelines under DAP 2020.
As a Head of Plant Maintenance at HAL, Accessories Division, Lucknow he had taken several initiatives and developed an online system for performance/ health monitoring of the CNC machines including the critical test rigs as per Industry 4.0 requirements. His contribution in obtaining NADCAP Certification for several processes used in the Process Shop at ADL was appreciated by the HAL Management.
